Kidd Slaps Ball Out of Ref’s Hand, Ref Celebrates Tech-sgiving
Unhappy with a technical foul already called by the ref with a couple minutes left in Wednesday night’s game between the Bucks and the Kings, Bucks head coach Jason Kidd slapped the basketball out of the referee’s hands – and got teed up again.
Guard O.J. Mayo and an assistant coach had to hold Kidd back.
No one has ever accused Kidd of being an even-tempered kinda fella. As a matter of fact, ESPN listed out about a dozen incidents where he showed severely bad decision-making skills, several of which came off the court.
So add this idiotic move to the list – and let’s continue to ask why teams feel his horrible decisions still make him someone that should make all of their team’s decisions. Here’s another look at the ball getting smacked away from the referee.
The Kings went on to win the road game, 121-113, and you can bet a suspension will be handed down by the NBA league offices.
