LeBron Posts Posterization Of Kristaps Porzingis To Instagram
The Knicks have a strange habit of outplaying the Cleveland Cavaliers up until the final minutes of their last three matchups. Call it dumb luck, the Cavs succumbing to a trap game, or simply LeBron's reluctance to "turn it on" until late in the fourth quarter -- but New York and Cleveland's last three meetings have been oddly close for two teams on either side of the "good at basketball" spectrum.
Thursday night, 20-year-old Latvian demi-god Kristaps Porzingis had one of his best games of the season, seamlessly filling to void left by Carmelo Anthony, who was out with a sprained ankle. Finishing with 13 rebounds and 23 points on four of five shooting from three, KP made a statement notching his 11th double-double on the home court of the best team in the Eastern Conference.
What's more, Porzingis swatted the mess out of LeBron James, who might have been coasting a little too softly in the first half...
Now butthurt that his shot was tossed by a skinny Eastern European child who's quickly stealing some of the NBA limelight, LeBron sought revenge with under a minute to go, carving up the Knicks' defense and flushing a monster jam over Porzingis, who smartly hid under the basket in fear.
This is what happens when the greatest basketball player on Earth goes at 100%. He is unstoppable, and Kristaps Porzingis clearly recognized that, as he didn't even bother to contest the shot.
As if that wasn't enough revenge for his liking -- the Cavs also won the game, mind you -- LBJ added insult to injury by Instagramming a photo of the exact moment Porzingis' soiled himself at King James' sacrificial basketball altar. This is what the alpha does when he's trying to assert his dominance.
