LeBron James And Kyrie Irving Have Played More Minutes Together Than Derrick Rose And Jimmy Butler

Coming into this season, the only team that was predicted to stand in the way of the Cleveland Cavaliers bulldozing their way into the Finals was the Chicago Bulls. Led by the newly healed Derrick Rose, the Bulls figured to be the more complete team, particularly in regard to chemistry. The Cavs were basically all new; the Bulls have had the same core for years.
Except the Bulls have been missing Rose. To give you an idea of just how little time Rose has spent with some of his teammates, check out this incredible stat:
LeBron James and Kyrie Irving have played more career minutes together (399) than Jimmy Butler and Derrick Rose (314).
LeBron James and Kyrie Irving are playing together for the first time this year. Rose has been in the league for six years (though he missed the entire 2012-13 season), and Butler -- a budding star -- has been in the league for three. Teammates with three years (technically) experience under their belts have less playing time together than guys who have been on the same team for less than a month about.
No wonder the Bulls are starting to go public with grievances (or at least frustrations) over Rose's playing time. On the other hand, the Cavaliers are 6-7 and the Bulls are 9-5, so maybe Thibs should chill.
