My Brother Sent Me This Photo Of James Dolan ‘Patting’ Phil Jackson During The Knicks’ Loss

How? How does one "pat" Phil Jackson? More importantly, why? Why would someone "pat" Phil Jackson? On the list of people who everyone knows you don't "pat," Phil Jackson ranks right below Genghis Khan, but just above a tired-looking Robert DeNiro sitting in first-class.
Amidst a tragically bad season, the owner of the New York Knicks was photographed by my younger/cooler brother -- sitting in the SNL box like a total douche, mind you -- patting the 13-time NBA Champion President of said horrible team. What are the chances Dolan had just made a joke about how great it is to be obscenely wealthy when you don't have to do your job well?
Oh, and there's the fact he was smiling -- like there was something funny about how his team would eventually lose that night for the 8th time in a row.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: The Knicks are doomed, and drunk 12-year-old James Dolan isn't making me any more optimistic.
"Who's a good boy? Phil's a good boy! Yes he is!"

Meanwhile, LeBron was enjoying some catharsis court-side at "the Mecca of basketball." MSG is "the Mecca of basketball" in the same way Miller High Life is "the champagne of beers." Spare us the irony, Bron, as you gloat over your decision to sign anywhere but New York.
