Put Out Your Jersey Fires, Ungrateful Heat Fans: Dwyane Wade Did What He Had To Do
So Dwyane Wade is no more in Miami: the face of the Heat accepted a reported $47.5M deal with the Chicago Bulls (via ESPN), calling Pat Riley's bluff and returning to his homeland (he's from Robbins, IL).
No city anywhere should be more grateful to an athlete than Miami to Wade. Without him they'd had won nothing, and we're factoring in LeBron with that. He's brought them three world titles, and look at these numbers:

Yet still, we have some Miami yahoos actually burning his jersey. What?
Wade is the one player who doesn't deserve this https://t.co/tVvFgRmxlI

If you're going to burn anything, fire up Pat Riley's suit. He's the one who wouldn't give Wade the money he deserved. He's the one who tried to bluff Wade into staying. It didn't work. And now Riley says that he's so sorry it worked out like this? This is exactly what Riley wanted. He's phasing Wade out of the picture, and Wade wouldn't be phased.
man y'all don't understand Wade. look we were taking advantage of him. if he's so important to us then why COULDNT we pay him. my God
