T-Wolves Want You To Send Big KAT and His Cat to NBA All-Star Game
Since the fan voting for the 2016 NBA All-Star Game is coming to a close on Monday, Jan. 18, teams are starting to make some last-ditch efforts in asking fans to vote their players into the game. For instance, the Minnesota Timberwolves put a cute video together hoping to convince you to send rookie center Karl-Anthony Towns -- “the Big KAT” – to Toronto for this year’s festivities.

If Towns does in fact travel around the world with his cat, then he definitely deserves a place in the All-Star Game.
Have you ever driven in a car with a cat? It’s like fighting with a squirrel while shaving – it’s quite precarious! And this guy is traveling through the air on feline airlines!?!
OK, so maybe not. Either way, it’s a cute promotion by the T-Wolves, who, by nature, aren’t usually very fond of kitty cats.
Towns is currently averaging 15.8 points per game, which is second among rookies, behind Jahlil Okafor, but Towns is leading all first-year players with 9.3 rebounds per game. It’s doubtful he makes the All-Star Game lineup, but you can bet he’ll be in Toronto that weekend for some of the other activities.
