The 76ers' 3D Court Projection System Will Be The Only Thing Worth Watching In Philadelphia This Season
All due respect to the members of the Philadelphia 76ers, who relatively speaking (for the most part) are excellent basketball players, good enough to paste any stupid sportswriter or snarky Internet message board freak into the ground, but they are gonna suck this year. Jason Richardson is their veteran leadership -- enough said.
So rather than watch tanking in motion, we expect most people to zone out and stare into the middle distance if they somehow find themselves at the Wells Fargo Center in December. The organization likely expects the same, and thus has unveiled a cool new 3D projection system that rivals the innovative display the Cavaliers put on last year.
This one features the Liberty Bell, because Philadelphia, and it shows the floor splintering into a hundred pieces, because it's not like there was going to be any basketball played on it anyway. Check it out, via the team's Instagram:
