These Korean Announcers Loved Steph Curry’s Shot More Than You Love Anything
By now you've most certainly been made aware of the theory that Steph Curry is a glorious sports cyborg, created by the NBA and a variety of highly intelligent biorobotics engineers in a super secret lab somewhere for the sole purpose of wreaking havoc on the legacies of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.
That theory becomes more and more plausible with every passing day, and was never more believable than on Saturday night, when Curry sunk the deepest of three-pointers in the final seconds of overtime against the Thunder to steal the win for the Warriors.
Of course with every stunning last-minute game-winner comes the equally entertaining announcer call of said play. And sure, we all heard the guys go wild on the ABC broadcast; but their enthusiasm paled in comparison to these Korean announcers, who were thankfully brought to our attention via Reddit user Go_Habs_Go31.
It's hard to think of a more thrilling end to a regular season basketball game in recent memory, so I'm glad it got the announcer call that it truly deserved. I haven't been as excited about anything that's ever happened in my life as those guys were about Steph Curry hitting that shot.
Kudos, Korean NBA announcers. You officially upped the awesomeness of what was already the most awesome play of the season.
