Twitter Highlights During REAL 2015-16 NBA Opening Night
Last night might have been the technical opening night for the NBA, and Stephen Curry certainly celebrated in a big way, but I’ve never been a fan of just having three or four teams play on the first night of the season.
I want all 30 teams playing on the NBA opening night! Call me crazy, but opening night for some teams is like finding out your buddy got laid while you and your date talked about her ex.
If my team isn’t in on the action, then it didn’t happen!
Well, Wednesday night, 28 teams were in action, with 14 games going off while the Hawks and Warriors rested. So I thought we’d share some of the Twitter highlights, which include plenty of overreactions, as most teams will have 81 games left to play after this.
Since many people will have signed up for NBA League Pass, I’m guessing we’ll see more tweets now than we will in a few months, when they no longer care because their team is out of it, or they bailed after the free preview (From Oct. 27-Nov. 3!).

Since my Orlando Magic played the Washington Wizards in the night’s earliest game, sophomore forward Aaron Gordon was the subject of a few early tweets! He had a couple dunks in the first quarter and Magic fans are excited!
I loved the energy Gordon brought to this team before a foot injury sidelined him last season. The team looks electric with him, Victor Oladipo and Elfrid Payton on the court at the same time.
I think it’s funny that Fox can get video working on Twitter – but not during Game 1 of the 2015 World Series.

You have to love the fact Nik Stauskas is embracing his nickname "Sauce Castillo," pouring hot sauce on a basketball in an introductory video in his 76ers debut.

They're playing the 'Six Feet Under' theme song here at FedEx Forum with the Cavs up by 30 in the 4th. That's one way to wave the white flag

Nets were 0-for-9 on threes tonight. The last time they didn't make a 3-pointer was opening night of the season they went 12-70.
