Finally, NBA All-Star weekend is upon us! That means it's the perfect time to reminisce about one of the greats to ever participate in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest.
Vince Carter is arguably the most prolific participant in contest history. He took over the competition in 2000 and cemented himself on the Mount Rushmore of NBA jams with his 360 windmill dunk.
Now, The Flight Brothers dunk team will try to etch their place in slam dunk history by imitating four of Carter's signature dunks. Whistle Sports captured the montage of posterizing jams!
While no one can out do Vince himself, these guys pulled off some monster dunks.
At 40 years old, it's understandable why Carter isn't participating in the 2017 NBA Slam Dunk contest, which airs Saturday at 8 p.m.
Still you never know, who could pull of the next dunk that will define the contest for this generation of basketball fans.
