What Did Enes Kanter Say To Kevin Durant?
Kevin Durant's first meeting with his former team went swimmingly. Not only did he finish with 39 points, but Russell Westbrook had his worst game of the season, scoring only 20 points (he was averaging 37 before Thursday) and the Warriors ended up winning by 36. When everything was said and done, K.D. had the everything he could've dreamt of: utter domination of his butthurt teammates who had previously (and publicly) questioned his motives for leaving in free agency this summer.
But Durant's night wasn't without turmoil. Late in the first half, Thunder center Enes Kanter started jawing at his ex-teammate from the bench.
"Why he didn't you do this in the playoffs?" he apparently asked.
"He was talking to me," Durant said after the game. "How many minutes he play? I'm sure he's going to put something on Twitter tonight."
