Wizards Use Magic To Beat Orlando On Beal’s Alley-Oop With 0.8 Seconds Left
With the scored tied at 89 between the Orlando Magic and the Washington Wizards Wednesday night, the Magic’s defense pulled defeat out of the jaws of overtime. The Magic allowed an impressive inbounds pass from Andre Miller for an alley-oop lay-up by Bradley Beal for the win in Orlando, 91-89.
It was Washington’s Rasual Butler who tied the score at 89 with 16 seconds left by sinking a free throw, and second-year Magic guard Victor Oladipo missed his own game-winning 20-foot jumper.
