It’s looking like Chris Bosh isn’t going to the Rockets, as many of us assumed when Houston shipped Jeremy Lin to the Lakers. Bosh, says Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, is finalizing a big deal to stay with the Heat.

Very clever, Mr. Bosh.

The New York Daily News is reporting it as well, saying that Bosh has agreed to a five-year, $118 million deal to stay in Miami. The Rockets still could go after Chandler Parsons, but if they were sending off Lin to create Bosh-space, then that seems to have backfired.

As of now, Bosh is the highest paid player in the NBA. Wow.

Nick Young is back with the Lakers

Young’s deal is for four years, with the fourth year being a player option, agent Mark Bartelstein confirmed. According to a source, the deal is worth $21.5 million.

Young opted out of his contract with the Lakers in June. The 6-foot-6 guard is coming off a career year last season, when he averaged a team-high 17.9 points for a Lakers team that finished 27-55.
