Bench Celebrations 101: Monmouth Bench Players Return With An Epic PSA

A smart early twenty-something raised in the age of social media knows when and how to capitalize on their fifteen minutes of fame, and the bench players for the Monmouth Hawks basketball team are no exception.
After rising to viral infamy with their thoroughly enthusiastic antics during an ESPN-televised game against Dayton a few weeks ago, they have successfully risen the stakes. YouTube channel The Kicker helped the Hawks' benchwarmers out with their very own 80's-inspired PSA that aims to educate other bench players on how to execute the perfect celebration.
It is equal parts hilarious, inspired and downright informative. To start off, guard Dan Pillari explains that the first rule of "making your bench the best bench."
Rule #1: "Always trust your teammates. They won't let you down."
The guys go on to show off some of their favorite unique celebrations, and they are not only brilliantly conceived works of dramatic art, but everyone has a role. #TEAMWORK!

It's a damn shame that it even took this long to get a courtside celebration of the Early Middle Ages. Did Monty Python teach us nothing? Thanks for stepping up to the plate, Monmouth bench guys. You are heroes in my book.
