National Anthem Singer Holds Note For 23 Seconds, Really Likes Freedom
The truth of the matter is that the Big Ten basketball conference really has 14 teams, but who has the time and money to change the logo every two years or so? And speaking of things that are expanded way larger than they traditionally should be, here's Star Spangled Banner singer John Vincent, belting out our National Anthem prior to the Maryland-Northwestern game in Chicago.
LOL, you serious dude? https://t.co/ypddZRGAh8

A nation that can't hold the note on the word "free" for 23 seconds does not deserve real freedom, my friends. This is not a Guinness World Record, sadly, because there is no such thing for holding a note during the U.S. National Anthem. But we salute you anyway, John Vincent -- especially those of us who got stuck in traffic and were late getting to our seats. We didn't miss the tipoff.
