Temple Run: UConn’s How To Lose A Game In 7 Minutes
American Athletic Conference 10 rivals Temple and UConn squared off tonight in a game of streaks. Unfortunately for the Huskies, it was the Owls who had the later and bigger streak, winning 63-58.

Temple was down 52-40 with 7 minutes left, which would normally be time to start making dinner plans. But then the Owls shot without conscience, hitting 5 3-pointers on 5 attempts, and only turning the ball over once during a 23-6 run.
The highlight for Temple was this crazy shot by guard and leading scorer Quenton DeCosey:
The lowlight for UConn was having the ball down only 59-58 with less 30 seconds, and turning ball over on two consecutive possessions that included no passes and no shots, and four converted free throws for Temple.
The Owls have now swept UConn and Cincinnati, and beaten SMU and Tulsa, and are tied for first in the AAU, which is pretty good for a team picked to be 6th this season. Don't forget them when you fill out your brackets next month.
