Because Santa Hates Houston, We’ve Got Lane Kiffin Back In The Head Coaching Ranks
According to USA Today, the University of Houston has decided to go with Lane Kiffin as their next head coach ... which is a bit like throwing the car keys to Johnny Manziel on New Year's Eve, but we wish them the best of luck.

To demonstrate how beloved Kiffin is, here's a College Spun video from 2014.
Currently the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Alabama, this will be the fourth head coaching stop for Kiffin. He was was head coach the the Oakland Raiders in 2007-08, Oakland Raiders (5-15 record), University of Tennessee (2009) and USC (2010-13).
Favorite Kiffin quote, when he was at Tennessee:
Kiffin generated further controversy when he told recruit Alshon Jeffery that if Jeffery chose the Gamecocks, "he would end up pumping gas for the rest of his life like all the other players from that state who had gone to South Carolina."
He's also the only coach I know who's been fired at the airport (USC).
