Butch Jones Trolls Jim Harbaugh On Twitter, Gets Folding Chair In The Back For His Trouble
If I was a football coach stuck at home while while Jim Harbaugh was taking his team on a spring break, I'd be jealous too. There's a slight controversy in big time college football, as Harbaugh has taken his Michigan football team to Florida to begin spring practice.
In addition to practices at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Harbaugh spent the day Wednesday coaching first base for the Detroit Tigers in their spring game vs. The Pirates.
Harbaugh's practices are closed -- except for Friday, when the public is invited. That's when Arkansas coach Bret Bielema said on Twitter that he may head down to watch Michigan.
After early meetings & lift tomorrow with our players. Thinking about heading to watch an open practice tomorrow at IMG with the staff. #WPS

It became a party when Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio chimed in, asking Bielema "Want to do lunch?"
Then Tennessee coach Butch Jones made it clear that the three were trolling Harbaugh, tweeting "Mind if I join you guys for lunch?"
It didn't take long for Harbaugh to respond:
Suggestion to my Rocky Top colleague, rather than lunch in Florida you might spend your time and focus attending to your present team.

Last week, Georgia coach Kirby Smith said this to Campus Insiders regarding Harbaugh's Florida trip:
“I think the NCAA in due time will have to step in,” Smart said at the Macon Touchdown Club. “I don’t know how it’s going to go down. It’s going to be interesting to see, though.
“You’ve gotta think about recruiting rules, how are they going to handle those, is it an advantage, disadvantage? Are they gonna let other coaches come to it, are they gonna hold open practices? Do we all come in there and watch them and scout them? If they’re all open practices why don’t we go and watch them. It’s a Pandora’s box of what it’s going to get into, obviously.”
If the Georgia coach is implying any intent on our part to break rules, he is barking up the wrong tree.
