Drunk Steve Sarkasian Drops F-Bomb At USC Booster Event
Steve Sarkasian has always been known as being outspoken, but on Saturday the USC head coach took that character trait and mixed it with a large helping of booze, and the reported result was hilarious.
It was the Salute to Troy even at USC, which is attended by big donors and serves as the first rally for the college football season. Sarkasian was reportedly drunk, and said many unfortunate things before being hauled off stage by by athletic director Pat Haden and John McKay Jr.
Here's a few of the fun things that occurred before Sark was poured off the stage. From Pacific Takes:
* Sarkisian was definitely drunk at the event and slurring his words during the speech. That’s been confirmed by multiple sources at the party.
* Sarkisian dropped an F-Bomb while introducing his team to the donors.
* Sarkisian said that Oregon, Arizona State and Notre Dame all suck. Sark is 0-9 against Oregon and Arizona State and has always lost to the Ducks by three scores or more.
"I sincerely apologize to my players and staff and to our fans for my behavior and my inappropriate language at our kickoff event Saturday night," Sarkisian said in a statement released via the school's sports blog Sunday morning. "I have a responsibility to all of them and I let them down. Pat Haden talked to me after the event about my actions and I assured him this will not happen again."
Poor Haden. It's always something.
"I met with coach Sarkisian and I expressed my disappointment in the way he represented himself and the university at our Salute to Troy event," Haden said in the same released statement. "While the details of our conversation will remain between us, I am confident he heard my message loud and clear."
My favorite part of this video, however: the USC cheerleaders cheering drunken comments.
