49ers Fans Put Colin Kaepernick Up For Sale On Amazon
Until Sunday, Colin Kaepernick still had a rather large hunk of supporters in the Bay Area. That's because many 49ers fans realize that any quarterback can look like crap when the surrounding talent is being quickly siphoned off. No QB wins games by himself, especially without a decent offensive line.
But then this happened:

And suddenly the Niner Faithful became a lot less so. And this franchise being based in Silicon Valley and all, there was only one thing to do.
The price is a little steep, but you get a deal on shipping.
I'm actually not real sure on the sequence of events here: I went on Amazon and couldn't find this. So it might be older than this past Sunday? It may even be a mock-up. Who knows -- it's funny.
What's not funny is the disarray surrounding the 49ers. At 2-6 they've now officially crossed the River Styx, that mythological boundary between the NFL and the underworld in which it's better to lose than to win. Because, you know, draft position.
In case you didn't know, the 49ers have been stockpiling draft picks as if to prepare for the zombie apocalypse. San Francisco has 12 picks in 2016, including all of their top seven, and nine picks in 2017. They're are going to be championship level again in a couple of years -- it's just a question of if Kaepernick is going to be a part of that.
