With just a couple weeks left until the Fantasy Football playoffs, there aren’t many opportunities left to pick up players with great schedules during Weeks 14 and 16.
We tracked down a handful of wide receivers that are currently unowned in half of CBS Sports’ Fantasy Football leagues, which means at least a couple of them should be available in your Fantasy league, no matter where you play.
(Last week, we looked at Fantasy DSTs with great Fantasy playoffs schedules!)
I used the stats from CBSSports.com’s Average Fantasy Points Allowed vs. Wide Receivers for 2016. Basically, this is a list of all 32 NFL defenses, and what their Fantasy points per game they’re allowing to opposing Fantasy wide receiver. Then we checked out the NFL schedule for Weeks 14, 15 and 16, and averaged out the rank of each defense vs. Fantasy WRs.
We also happen to come across five NFL teams whose wide receivers are in for a tough stretch between Weeks 14-16.
For instance, from the chart below, you can see the Jaguars, Colts, Ravens, Texans and Bengals have the toughest schedules for wide receivers in the Fantasy playoffs weeks. That means there’s tough sledding ahead for guys like Allen Robinson, T.Y. Hilton, Donte Moncrief and DeAndre Hopkins. You’re still going to start those guys, but you can probably punt on guys like Allen Hurns, Phillip Dorsett, Will Fuller, Mike Wallace, Tyler Boyd and Brandon LaFell.
