Aaron Judge’s Fantasy Football Team is Better Than Yours!
Aaron Judge may be named the American League’s MVP after having a major record-setting breakthrough season for the Yankees. He’s also making a big splash in Fantasy Football for the first time. Judge’s squad is undefeated after seven weeks of the regular season, as he has also become a dominant force in Big League Impact Fantasy Football.
Make it 7-0 for Aaron Judge. He’s on fire in our BLI fantasy football league.

Judge is playing Fantasy Football for great causes, as Big League Impact is a charitable organization founded in 2013 by Adam Wainright in which fans can play against their favorite Major League stars. The BLI Fantasy leagues now hold live drafts in nine cities for 10 leagues. This season in late August, Judge and teammates C.C. Sabathia, Dellin Betances and Clint Frazier participated in live drafts with Yankee fans at Yankee Stadium. All entry fees go to local communities and charities around the world.
Scott Engel of the FNTSY Sports Network interviewed Judge on draft day, and he was quite confident in his picks. He was especially excited to land Ezekiel Elliott and Jimmy Graham. Michael Thomas was his first round pick from the No. 12 slot and he got Eliiott on the turn. Landing Kareem Hunt in the fourth round swing, though, is a big key to his success so far.
Can Judge stay undefeated? Here’s what Engel thinks:
“It’s very hard to go completely undefeated in any Fantasy Football league. Injuries, bye weeks, etc. are major hurdles. Going seven weeks without a loss is a significant accomplishment itself. Sixteen weeks without a regular season or playoff loss is a truly rare feat, one of the most difficult things to accomplish for any Fantasy player.”
“Judge, though, as a pro athlete, understands that winning as many games as possible, rather than all of them is most important overall, and he obviously has the core of a team to win it all. If Elliott remains available he will be very hard to beat, because the combination of Elliott and Kareem Hunt is very dominant. Russell Wilson is coming off a three TD game and is the crux of the Seattle offense, and Graham has started to perform better statistically recently. Thomas may have better weeks lying ahead and Adam Thielen has become very dependable.
“But he needs to have a more reliable third wide receiver than Davante Adams because the Aaron Rodgers loss is really going to hurt his production. I know Judge wanted Adams because he was a ‘Fresno State kid’ but that WR3 spot may be his one real area of concern. I don’t think most Fantasy teams have a chance of going undefeated and Judge could lose a game or two, but right now I think he has a real strong shot to win the Yankees BLI championship.”
It seems Judge can almost do no wrong this season, whether it’s in real or Fantasy Sports.
