Ann-Coulter-In-Training Calls Ray Rice A 'Victim'
We're probably doing A.J. Delgado a favor by paying attention to any of the stupid shit she says, but this is remarkable. Under the guise of looking at the elevator tape from a gender neutral perspective, Delgado told Sean Hannity that Janay Palmer abused Rice when she slapped him (after he spit in her face, not the other way around as she claims).
She basically condones what Rice did by painting it as a matter of self-defense.
"If you watch the video, the video actually helps makes him look better than he did before. She repeatedly attacked him. He's a victim -- flat out fact -- of domestic violence. Only after she's hit him several times and spit on him does he finally hit back...and she happens, because of that blow, to knock herself out on the railing. That was an unintended consequence. I'm sure."
An immature move, no doubt, but slapping someone for spitting in your face is in no way comparable to a professional football player delivering a left hook to the face of someone half his size for slapping him. Slaps hurt. Spit is gross.
Punching can kill.
So does rape -- which Delgado also holds victims somewhat responsible for.
“To the extent some in our society remain skeptical of rape claims, women themselves bear a share of the blame. After all, for every legitimate, actual rape claim there may be another that was not: a girl who cried rape.”
Delgado, a Harvard Law grad, is the kind of person who argues politics with 9-year-olds because she can seem right even when she takes absurd positions.
LIBERALS: "Hitting a woman? BAD." "Falsifying what a woman said, endangering her, psychological abuse, THREATS, & cyberharassment? FUN!"
