Arizona Cardinals Leave Honey Badger Locked In Hot Car
Okay, so maybe Honey Badger do care.
Arizona Cardinals safety Tyrann Mathieu locked himself inside his car in the summer heat. Okay, even by NFL player standards, that sounds like a stupid thing to do. However, he did it for a good cause, shooting a PSA for PETA to raise awareness about the dangers of leaving your dog in a hot, locked car during the summer.
It was only 90 degrees outside (or as it as known in Phoenix, Sweater Weather), but inside the car with the badly blurred-out Chevrolet logo, it reached 120 degrees. Mathieu fanned himself and filled his shirt with sweat, but he could only go 8 minutes before jumping out. He had a crew worker and a bottle of water waiting on him, so he didn't quite simulate a dog's experience, but close enough.
So next time you drive to the mall or the movies or a strip club, remember, don't leave your NFL safety locked in car. The secondary you save could be your own.
