Bills’ Aaron Williams Leaves Field In Ambulance After Neck Injury
In probably the scariest moment of the young 2015 NFL season, Bills safety Aaron Williams had to be taken from Ralph Wilson Stadium in a stretcher after suffering an apparent neck injury while trying to tackle Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman.
As of right now, it's tough to tell exactly what happened or how extensive the injury may be but it looks like he must have landed oddly on Edelman's legs after going completely horizontal in an air-born attempt to keep him out of the end zone in the 3rd quarter.
After staying down throughout the commercial timeout, Williams was carefully put on a stretcher and an ambulance was driven out on the field to retrieve him immediately for medical attention.
Williams and the Bills were already having a tough time against the Patriots at the time of his injury, and this certainly didn't help morale in the stadium. Our thoughts are with Williams and we hope that he is okay and will be healthy and back on the field very soon.
