Braylon Edwards Is The Latest Athlete Who Wants You To Think His Twitter Was Hacked
The entourage of currently unemployed NFL receiver Braylon Edwards got into a bit of a scuffle in a Birmingham, Mich. bar last night, but that shouldn't be a surprise to any of his 97,000+ followers on Twitter. That's because around the same time that the fight allegedly took place last night, the following messages appeared on Edwards' verified account, @OfficialBraylon:
"Damn. Get ya knuckles ready"
"Don't fight if. You don't know how."
Those tweets however, have since been deleted, and according to Edwards, he wasn't the one who actually sent them.
Yo...Lost my phone last night someone sent tweets. Deleted them and changed my password. Sorry for the mishap hopefully never happens again!
How convenient. And the former New York Jet wonders why his former team opted to sign a player who's spent the past two NFL seasons in prison over signing him. Then again, if Edwards holds onto his cell phone like he does a football, there's a good chance that he did lose it last night.
