Cam Newton Speaks: ‘I’m Not Gonna Conform… What Makes Your Way Right?’

Cam Newton pissed some people off by not being more communicative at his post-Super Bowl press conference, answering a few questions quickly and glumly before walking off the stage -- perhaps because he could hear Broncos players gloating about shutting him down on the other side of the curtain. For those of you who wanted more out of Newton, he's speaking to reporters in the Carolina locker room today, and he's using full sentences and everything.
Warning, though: He is not apologizing for the way he conducted himself. But he is confident that the Panthers will be back in the Super Bowl in the future. Surprised? Obviously not, but now you get to hear those empty words for yourself (via Black and Blue Review):
Happy? Newton is back to his old self here, and that will surely rub some people the wrong way, because no answer this guy gives is sufficient. Expect the line about not wanting to dive on the fumble for risk of injury to stir up a whole new controversy.
The AP's Steve Reed is in the Carolina locker room, so follow him to see how the rest of the Panthers are taking the loss.
