Are You A Patriots Fan In The Foxboro Area? You Might Be Chad Ochocinco’s New Roommate
When Chad Ochocinco got traded to the New England Patriots, he was ecstatic, and the deal may well prove to be the best thing that could possibly happen to him football-wise, but those who enjoyed his off-field exploits wouldn't have been blamed for wondering: will Ochocinco's initiation into the Patriot Way blunt the quirky personality that's given us tweetbursts like this and this, as well as the name "Chad Ochocinco" itself?
Well, we think it's safe to say we have our answer, and it was the only answer we should have expected all along: no, Ochocinco hasn't changed a bit (except he's a whole lot happier with the team he's on). He revealed earlier today that he's still looking for a place to stay in the Patriots' area, and has an interesting plan for going about solving this problem:
"I'm going to do something different, I'm actually going to stay with a fan for the first two, three weeks of the season. That should be fun, until I get myself acclimated and learn my way around."
And you know, it just might be fun. Especially since Ochocinco doesn't figure to be a very demanding roommate, given his requirements are so minimal:
"I'm not sure how it's going to work, but they have to have Internet and have to have Xbox. That's about it."
When asked if he'd really go through with this plan, Ochocinco responded with a question of his own: "Have I ever lied to you before?" While that's not exactly a yes, considering there'd likely be no shortage of willing roommates, he might as well go through with this. And luckily enough, we even have a suggestion to get the ball rolling. Happy hunting!
