Chip Kelly Takes The High Road As LeSean McCoy Takes The Low One
The LeSean McCoy-Chip Kelly feud has been noticeably one-sided, which makes sense: Shady is almost half the age of his former coach. To expect the old guy in this scenario to throw gas on the fire would be silly. That being said, Kelly's reluctance to retaliate this week never stopped McCoy's ego from turning their first game against one another into the title bout at Summerslam. Dude was all in from the first time a reporter asked him about the game to moment he stepped on Lincoln Financial Field.
A sarcastic kiss to the Eagles logo at midfield was the culmination of a year's worth of shit-talking of his old team.

Fast-forward to the waning moments of the Bills-Eagles Week 15 matchup, and it becomes clear LeSean McCoy is regretting some of the words that have been coming out of his mouth. Finishing with 74 yards on 20 carries, the former rushing leader threw a hissy fit in the tunnel to the visiting locker room as his team failed to put points on the board and break the 20-20 tie in the fourth quarter Sunday night. Meanwhile, Chip Kelly downplayed rumors that there was any contentious interaction between the two leading up to the game.
Sunday's McCoy-Kelly reunion was culminated the case study that was "how to make yourself a very butthurt NFL running back." Chip shot down rumors that he called McCoy and he hung up on him, while Shady hid under the bleachers and cried. Hate to say it, but that's what happens when you let your mouth do the thinking for you. McCoy knew this, he just probably didn't realize that the risk of looking like a complete jackass wasn't worth the potential reward of being able to point and laugh at the guy who traded him.
