Andy Dalton vs. Indianapolis Colts: Andy Dalton was starting to pick things up until this last week against the Steelers. Now in Week 8, he draws a prime matchup against a Colts defense that ranks in the bottom third in points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Look for Dalton and the aerial attack to jump on the Colts early, with A.J. Green being the primary beneficiary. Dalton could easily finish this game with around 300 yards passing and at least two touchdowns. He will be a low-end QB1 for the week, and a player in DFS that you can roster for a very cheap price.
Marlon Mack @ Cincinnati Bengals: Marlon Mack finally out-snapped Frank Gore, and I expect that trend to continue in this matchup against a Bengals defense that ranks as one of the better units in the league against running backs. But with the game-script likely to have the Colts playing from behind, they will need to find ways to utilize Mack in the offense. Expect him to bring in 15 touches this week, with five catches, 95 total yards and a score. He’ll be a very nice flex play for the week, and a sneaky play in DFS who should be low-owned in Week 8.
Tyrell Williams @ New England Patriots: Tyrell Williams has a grand total of six targets over the last three games, but in this matchup against the Patriots you can expect that number to double. Aside from Week 7, the Patriots have been allowing points in bunches to opposing receivers, ranking as the third-worst defense in the league. Belichick will likely roll a lot of coverage over to Keenan Allen in this game, leaving Williams in a spot to take advantage of single coverage. Look for him to finish this game with five catches for 85 yards and a score. He’s worthy of a WR3 start in seasonal leagues, and he’s a sneaky start for your DFS lineups who will be virtually overlooked.
George Kittle @ Philadelphia Eagles: If the 49ers are smart, they will have watched the game film from Monday night and use the same game-plan the Redskins used with Jordan Reed. With the Eagles offense on fire over the last few weeks, opposing teams have no choice but to keep up by throwing the ball. George Kittle could be a sneaky play as a streaming option at tight end in seasonal leagues for Week 8, and a DFS play that no one will be looking at. This will allow you to load up at other key spots in your lineup.
Blair Walsh vs. Houston Texans: With the Seahawks’ offense starting to gain traction, look for Blair Walsh to get a few opportunities to score you points via field goal attempts and extra points in Week 8. When it comes to DFS, most Fantasy owners tend to look for a cheap option to throw in, and Walsh is your guy this week.
Buffalo Bills vs. Oakland Raiders: Many owners may be thinking that the Oakland Raiders’ offense is back. Pump the brakes on that thinking in this matchup against the Bills. The Raiders will be making a long trip across the country to play this game, and the Bills’ defense has been playing tough of late. I can see a few sacks in this game and a couple of turnovers for the Bills in Week 8, making the Bills a defense that will be largely overlooked in DFS this week.
