The Walter Payton Man of the Year Award is given to the NFL player who has the largest philanthropic impact off the field in a given year.
In 2014 the highly touted accolade was awarded to Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis, who donates money to an abundance of charitable causes.
But just how nice is the linebacker really? Is he nice enough to help a three-legged dog or retrieve medicine for a sick friend? Comedian and cast member of the former hit NBC show Parks and Recreation Ben Schwartz asks Thomas the hard-hitting questions in the comedic web series Courtyard Camera.
Everyone has a ceiling for how nice they are. Apparently having to take two trains to get medicine for a sick friend is where Thomas draws the line.
You have to admit Thomas and Schwartz have some pretty good chemistry on screen with a hilarious sarcastic undertone. All kidding aside though, hats off to Thomas for continuing to donate his resources to charities and we wish the best of luck to all his current and future philanthropic endeavors.
