Johnny Manziel Pulled Over By Cops For Arguing With Girlfriend; Admits He’d Been Drinking
So Johnny Manziel is not estranged from tasty booze, as you may have assumed. It happened in Cleveland on Monday, as two people called the cops and reported that Manziel and his girlfriend, TCU student Colleen Elizabeth Crowley, were having a running argument in a vehicle driving down the freeway.
But that's not the big deal -- couples argue all the time. What is significant is that Manziel admitted that he had been drinking. Manziel was in alcohol rehab earlier this year. Fox Sports:
Crowley told police that Manziel allegedly pushed her head into a window and officers supposedly did notice an abrasion on Crowley's arm. However, it was apparently determined that the abrasion happened when Manziel attempted to keep Crowley from getting out of the car while in motion.
The report says police believed the two were not intoxicated enough to press charges. Crowley also reportedly told police she didn't want Manziel charged, so the two were allowed to leave in the Browns' star's car.
Both Manziel and Crowley admitted to arguing, and Manziel told police they had been drinking earlier in the day. The police officer made the determination that Manziel was not intoxicated and he was not charged.
Crowley also had a mark on her wrist, but police determined it was not domestic abuse. Statement by the Browns:

So, you can downplay this as an insignificant incident if you want -- that's your thing. But if he's drinking, just watch this space. There's more to come. The Browns should be worried.
