DeAngelo Williams Had A ‘Walking Dead’-Themed Wedding
"OK it's time for the wedding photos, so let's head over to the cemetery," said no one ever, until now. Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams is a huge Walking Dead fan, in case you didn't know. On Sunday night he turned up on Talking Dead, the Chris Hardwick-hosted recap show on AMC, and discussed both his love of the program, and his recent zombie-themed wedding.
On how he became a fan:
"I was on a flight to China, and Gary Barnes of the Cleveland Browns, I was on a 14-hour flight and I had nothing to keep me entertained. He handed my an iPad, and I played a game of The Walking Dead for the entire 14 hours. So when I landed, the first thing I did was I called my wife and said, yo, we're going to start watching The Walking Dead.

It was the show's mid-season premiere on Sunday, the perfect time for Hardwick to show some photos from Williams' Walking Dead-themed wedding. Williams:
"So you know, weddings are for women. So I told my wife hey, we're gonna make this a win-win situation. So I said let's do a zombie-themed wedding, and she said 'OK, cool.' So we got married normally, then the next day we did everything we did the day before all over again, but in zombie mode.
"It wasn't easy at first though. We told everybody who wanted to be in that wedding that they had to agree to being a zombie. Even the kids."
Fun fact: After nine seasons with the Carolina Panthers, Williams made his NFL debut with the Steelers in 2015 by running for 127 yards on 21 carries against the Patriots. Due in part to injury, Williams is now in a backup role in Pittsburgh.
