Ditka Ends Packers Curse By Throwing Their Sweater Off A Balcony
McDonald's knows it's always good to dress in layers n the NFC North. When the fast food giant began its scratcher commercial campaign back in October, in which Mike Ditka wore a Packers sweater, they had no way of knowing that it would start a three-game losing streak for Green Bay.
The Packers even lost to the Lions last week -- coinciding with Ditka wearing a mini-Ditka hat that also wore a Packers sweater. It was Green Bay's third straight loss, and fans immediately called curse, and Bears fans called "traitor."
So bowing to pressure, or more likely looking at the schedule and seeing that the Packers were due for a win, McDonald's shot a new commercial with Ditka ditching the green and gold to reveal a Bears sweater vest underneath.

Result: a few hours after the commercial aired, the Packers beat the Minnesota Vikings, 30-13.
