Recently Eli Manning is under investigation due to controversial emails sent in April 2010. Back in 2010 the Giants and Manning allegedly tried to trick a memorabilia and collection company into buying what they thought was game-used Giants equipment. The problem was when an email was found that was sent by Manning to the Giants equipment manager, as “trying to pass off two helmets as game used.”
But of course not everyone can keep their mouth shut, especially when it’s a Cowboys fan that gets the opportunity to hassle anything or anybody Giants related. Well this Cowboys fan just happens to be New Jersey governor Chris Christie. He had some choice of words for the Giants quarterback.
“Could you ever imagine Peyton being involved in this?” No, definitely not. Peyton’s smarter.”
Christie went on to call Manning a “liar who got caught”. Why don’t you tell us how you really feel governor?

The New Jersey governor looks to pursue a career in sports radio when his time with politics is up. Whatever Christie decides to do we can be sure that he’ll never shy away from speaking his opinion on certain matters, whether that’s sports or politics.
