Eric Berry Gets First Interception After Beating Cancer #Badass
The Chiefs lead the Steelers 16-10 in the third quarter in Pittsburgh, but the big highlight for Kansas City is the interception by Kansas City's Eric Berry.
Berry was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma on December 8, 2014, but through chemotherapy and rehab, he beat the disease and was cleared by doctors to return to football in July. He made his official return in a preseason game in August, but today was his first interception.
That's good news, no matter who you root for. And this is the first bow-and-arrow celebration in sports that I've seen that actually makes sense.
Berry was drafted out of Tennessee in 2010, and fun fact, he has twin brothers who are playing now for the Volunteers.
