If your season-long Fantasy Football season extends into Week 17, you still may be able to find some hidden gems on the waiver wire that could help fill any remaining gaps in your Fantasy lineup. Check out the waiver activity that took place leading up to Week 16. Your league mates were faced with a win or go home scenario last week and may have opted to drop players who had tough matchups in Week 16. Some of those players may be Fantasy viable in Week 17.
Thankfully, there weren’t too many injuries to top players in Week 16, however, Titans RB Demarco Murray suffered a sprained knee and is unlikely to play in Week 17. If Derrick Henry is somehow available in your league, grab him.
San Francisco 49ers WR Marquise Goodwin is a good example of a player whose Week 16 matchup against the Jaguars may have scared Fantasy owners off, causing them to send him to the waiver wire. He takes on the Rams this week, who have allowed over 200 yards to WRs in two of their last three games.
The Jaguars take on the Titans who’ve given up the third-most touchdowns to WRs in Week 17. Dede Westbrook (56 percent owned in CBSSports.com leagues) and Keelan Cole (31 percent owned) are viable Fantasy options this week.
Chargers’ TE Antonio Gates has scored TDs in two straight games. He takes on the Raiders who’ve given up the second-most receptions and fifth-most FPPG to the position.
Lions’ TE Eric Ebron has scored TDs in two straight games and double-digit FPPG in PPR formats in three straight. He’s owned in 55 percent of CBSSports.com leagues.
