Fictional: Tim Tebow Texts Boss To Say He’s Been Signed By Arizona Cardinals

Tim Tebow still wants nothing more than to throw on an helmet and help an NFL team make the playoffs. But no one has come calling. A satirical site reported that Tebow had been signed, and it nearly broke the internet. People believed it, and the reasoning why is fairly simple. In fact, it's explained perfectly by Cutter in "The Prestige":
The magician takes the ordinary something and makes it do something extraordinary. Now you're looking for the secret... but you won't find it, because of course you're not really looking. You don't really want to know. You want to be fooled.
In this case, the magician is the satirist and the magic trick is the satirical piece.
But we've got a piece of our own -- a conversation between Tim Tebow and his boss, George Stephanopoulos after Tim Tebow receives a phone call from Arizona Cardinals coach Bruce Arians. The Cardinals want to sign Tim Tebow.
