Fox Sports Hires A-Rod And He Promptly Starts Breaking Shit On The NFL Set
October 18 / Tanya Ray Fox / SportsGrid
Fox Sports recently hired Alex Rodriguez as an analyst for their World Series coverage, and the signs of their impending karmic punishment for forcing A-Rod's dumb face on America began almost immediately. In an appearance on Fox NFL Sunday, he was inexplicably handed a football and told to throw a pass to Jay Glazer in a studio filled with millions of dollars of high-tech video equipment.
First of all, thanks for telling us you haven't played quarterback in twenty years buddy. We would have never known by the way you tossed that thing like you were playing Facebreakers with Jimmy Fallon.
Secondly, I can't help but cringe for the stage crew and producers in the control room. While Michael Strahan and the rest of the millionaire analysts are laughing their asses off on set, there are about fifty other people behind the scenes that are absolutely mortified. Not only is that not an easy fix, but what are you going to say to a guy who could buy and sell you a hundred times over?
That's what you get, Fox. This is only just the beginning of your penance.
