FOX’s Sunday NFL Viewing Maps Before And After The Browns Tabbed Johnny Manziel As Starter
Bengals at Browns, before Johnny Football -- just another game, a game that Cincy probably wins, a game featuring two surprisingly decent but otherwise boring AFC North teams. Thus, when choosing which parts of the nation would see which football games, FOX divided things up thusly:
Makes sense. The Packers are good. People like watching them play. Nothing else going on out west at 1 p.m. anyway. Those little splotches of green down in Texas -- maybe that's A&M country? College Station is just between Houston and San Antonio.
So what happened to the map after the Browns decided to make things interesting and install Manziel as starter?
WHOA. Green explosion. Now much of the Midwest, South and West will be watching Johnny try to make some money. Cincy Jungle estimates that 200 million Americans will be watching a different game on Sunday afternoon than previously planned. Needless to say, FOX is glad they got this game instead of CBS.
Sorry, Giants and Dan Snyder fans.
