Football isn’t exactly known for the amount of personal expression it allows. If a player is lucky, he’ll get in the endzone 10 times in a season, at which point he has about five seconds to show the world who he really is with a celebratory ritual. That’s it. They get 50 seconds all year to stand out. Otherwise, football players are anonymous battle robots shrouded in padding, hidden behind a helmet, wearing soccer shoes. Lame.
Here are the surprisingly awesome results when someone takes iconic Nike basketball sneakers and puts little nubs on the bottoms so as to give football players something slightly interesting to distinguish themselves with on game day.
