Great White Shark Filmed Breaching For Seal Off Massachusetts Coast
Last week, we floated the theory that (perhaps) the recent influx of gigantic, man-eating cartilaginous fish to the New England shoreline is the universe's response to Tom Brady's adamant defense in the on-going DeflateGate saga. The premise is simple: Tom Brady did, in fact, know about the deliberate under-inflation of game balls prior to the 2015 AFC Championship Game (and others), and by cashing in a lifetime's-worth of karma to clear his name, he is attracting monsters to the waters off Massachusetts.
It's totally unlikely. Highly improbable. Nearly impossible. Almost certainly not the case whatsoever and the real explanation for the increase in large aquatic predators is the direct result of an increased atlantic harbor seal population combined with warmer ocean temperatures and less rainfall. But still, we can't rule EVERYTHING out just yet.
This might be Brady's fault. Probably not, though.
