Greg Hardy Went A Little Bit Insane On Twitter This Morning
November 11 / Rick Chandler / SportsGrid
I'm not sure what kind of person wakes up and goes straight to Greg Hardy's Twitter page, but someone did that this morning, and look what was waiting for him or her.
Yep, Hardy had changed his Twitter bio and background photo, and it was, um, interesting.
“Innocent until proven guilty-lack of knowledge & information is just ignorance- the unjust/prejudicial treatment of diff categories of people is discrimination.”
As Rodney Dangerfield said in Back to School: "... he really seems to care. About what I have NO idea."
We're not going to speculate on what Hardy was trying to say, except that a possible mental health issue is not being discussed here -- or, at least not discussed enough. Anyway, this may have been to weird even for Hardy, who a few hours later changed his Twitter bio again.
But the main thing here is the big $100 bill with his picture on it. Because priorities.
Those are 2Pac lyrics, by the way.
Hardy had tweeted this on Saturday, which we suppose was his version of an apology:
Just had to say I express my regret 4 what happened in past and I'm Dedicated to being the best person & teammate that I can be.
One of the saddest elements of all here are his sycophantic "fans", who still leave him little love notes on Twitter. These are Twitter followers, sure -- but they also take the form of Cowboys fans who still attend games and put dollars in Jerry Jones' pockets.
I have no answers for any of this. Perhaps there are some 2Pac lyrics that can explain it?
