Guess What Ultra-Nerd Purchase Andrew Luck Will Make With His Next Big Contract?
Andrew Luck is currently in the fifth-year option of the 4-year, $22,107,998 contract he signed with the Indianapolis Colts as a rookie, meaning that he'll make about $16.5 million in 2016 as opposed to $10.2 million per season before. Then the Colts, unless they're insane, will sign him to a lucrative extension.
What that will be is anyone's guess, but it could top Aaron Rodgers' five-year, $110 million deal signed in 2013. That buys a lot of books (one of Luck's passions -- he even started a book club with the Colts). But what else could it buy?
Luck, a self-professed nerd of the highest order (he's obsessed with the Harry Potter books), revealed all to Kevin Clark of The Ringer podcast.
“Maybe like a robot ping-pong thing that hits balls back at you. My buddy has one and swears by it. ... I have friends who play but no one wants to hang out with me, you know?”
Also, Luck's Summer jam? Awol Nation.
