Guy In Gorilla Suit Invades Field, Sends Mixed Messages At Bears Game
The jury is still out on what this guy was trying to accomplish at the Bears-Lions game on Sunday in Chicago. He was wearing a gorilla suit with a t-shirt that read "All Lives Matter" on the front and "Put The Guns Down" on the back. A racist exhibition? A comment ON racism? A message on gun control? A tribute to Harambe? The answer is shrouded in mystery.
Especially since, when they unmasked the dude, turned out he was African-American. Way to confuse a nation, guy.
But the best part of all this was not the costume or the message -- it was the way the man was captured. He ran around for a bit (see video below), but when he was surrounded, he gave himself up by sliding, feet first. Yes, apparently he was under the impression that because this was during an NFL game, if you slid you couldn't be tackled.
The gorilla thought he was Jay Cutler.

As you can see, no quarter was given by security, who just piled on like it was a Three Stooges short.
