Here’s The Identity Of Every Athlete In New Nike Commercial ‘Snow Day’
You know Ndamukong Suh means business when he comes to your house in the snow wearing shorts.
We're not sure how much this commercial cost, but with all the athletes in it I'm betting it exceeds the salary cap of any given NFL team. Nike's Snow Day debuted during Thursday Night Football, and has to be near the top of any ad the company has produced to date, and that's saying something.
Portland ad agency Wieden & Kennedy put it together, and in addition to all the sports talent, they actually filmed it entirely on an indoor set, complete with houses and a snowplow. So school is canceled due to light snow (only in Portland can this happen) and Suh and Rob Gronkowski are captains in a hastily-organized neighborhood football game. And by the way, I totally believe that Gronkowski checks the weather by bursting his head through the glass of his bedroom window.
So I have to admit that I didn't recognize everyone here. There are 21 athletes present (my favorite: Steven Stamkos of the Lightning, who apparently had been sleeping in the snow and just suddenly emerges like a Yeti. He's from Ontario, after all). The rest are:
Odell Beckham Jr., Le’Veon Bell, Eugenie Bouchard, Antonio Brown, Elena Delle Donne, Marlen Esparza, Paula Findlay, Lauren Fisher, Paul George, A.J. Green, Draymond Green, Luke Kuechly, Sydney Leroux, Carli Lloyd, Marcus Mariota, LeSean McCoy, Ben Roethlisberger, and Eric Weddle.
Kind of reminds me of this:
