If This Doesn’t Make Jay Cutler Feel Really Guilty For Dumping Kristin Cavallari, Nothing Will
Kristin Cavallari is having her very own Sex and the City moment — though admittedly, not the kind she was hoping for.
Warning: I'm about to compare this to Sex and the City. I apologize in advance. If you leave now, I don't blame you.
Much like Carrie Bradshaw, who appeared in a Vogue photo shoot modeling designer wedding dresses just before her impending nuptials to Mr. Big, Cavallari also acted a bit prematurely — donning an assortment of white gowns in the latest issue of Life & Style. And much like Carrie, who was jilted the day of her wedding, the former reality T.V. star was likewise dumped at a most inconvenient time — after the magazine had gone to print.
News of the breakup came just days after the pair had partied at their engagement celebration, with the former Hills celebrity reportedly planning a move from her native Los Angeles to Chicago for the upcoming NFL season.
One could make the argument that the would-be matrimony — reportedly scheduled for next spring — was doomed from the start. Cutler popped the question in Cabo, also the site of numerous Spring Break spats between Cavallari and ex-boyfriend/Laguna Beach co-star Stephen Colletti. Clearly Cutler needed to brush up a bit more on his girlfriend's well-documented high school years.
Since now we're left without another Coldplay-scored wedding trailer to look forward to, you'll have to make do with these photos of Kristin all dressed in white, for the union that wasn't to be:
The magazine described Kristin as "bubbling with excitement." She wanted a "mystical" wedding with lots of flowers and...alright, that's enough, we're getting emotional here.
