In Which Maurice Jones-Drew Reenacts Tom Brady’s GQ Shoot
First let me correct you: Tom Brady has not been named GQ's "Man of the Year." He is one of their "Men of the Year" -- Barack Obama is another, and he'll be on another cover of the magazine. I'm also hopeful for Berkeley Breathed, who brought back the comic strip Bloom County, but we'll see.
Anyway, NFL Network analyst and former Jaguars' running back Maurice Jones-Drew has scored another touchdown with this series of photos, in which he reenacts Brady's GQ photo shoot. In the magazine article, author Chuck Klosterman declares that Brady is the greatest quarterback of all time.
That's certainly debatable -- but what's not is that he's the most photographed. Thanks to his Facebook page we've even got shots of him from high school and even earlier. So do we need more fashion magazine layouts? Probably not. Do we need more reenactments of these Brady shoots by Jones-Drew? Definitely yes.
Why is Brady throwing up that 'L', by the way? Or has someone just taken his sandwich?
