Jared Lorenzen Throws (A Lot) Of Shade On Seahawks’ Color Rush Uniforms
Jared Lorenzen is back on your Twitter feed, making an appearance on Thursday night to note the similarities between Nike's color rush uniforms and those of his own former team, the Northern Kentucky River Monsters. And he kind of has a point: Seattle's neon-green monstrosities do seem like cheap knock-offs of a Continental Indoor Football League uni.

Lorenzen, of course, played at the University of Kentucky, passing for more than 10,000 yards in four years. He wasn't drafted, but landed a job with the New York Giants as Eli Manning's backup for four seasons, including the year they beat the Patriots in Super Bowl XLII. Yes, the Hefty Lefty has a Super Bowl ring.
These days Lorenzen, who reportedly tipped the scales at 320 pounds on the last team he played for (the River Monsters in 2014), currently makes his living as a host on Kentucky Sports Radio out of Lexington. And, apparently, by trolling rival Louisville through his t-shirt company.
