Jay Glazer Literally Fights Trolls, Once Threatened Peyton Manning
When you tune into ESPN, there are a few things you can expect, namely, LeBron speculation, more LeBron speculation, and piping hot takes on the facial expressions of NFL players. But what you don't expect to hear is another media type dropping f-bombs and talking fondly about how he used to kick hecklers' asses when he was a stand-up comic.
Enter Jay Glazer on Dan LeBatard's Highly Questionable program this afternoon. "Hecklers were the first Twitter fucking assholes," we assume he said, though the words were obviously bleeped out and his mouth was covered up.
"I'd go in the crowd and beat the hell out of 'em."
He then went on to describe how he once was confronted by an Adam Schefter Twitter troll who cursed Glazer out for breaking the whole spygate story. "How could you ever say that to a grown man?" he asked the angry Patriots fan, who called him a "motherfucker" or something close.
"If this were real life your ass would be asleep right here. That's what's going to happen to you today. Wherever you go, I'm going to follow you out and no one will be there and I'll call [Adam] Schefter and show him why I'm taking vengeance for you upon him. Don't ever tweet something that you would not be willing to say to someone alone behind 7-Eleven. Bam, done deal. It was great, man."
Can't say we don't (kind of) share those sentiments.
He also told a story about the time he almost kicked Peyton Manning's ass (you noticing this violence theme?) because he was talking smack about Michael Strahan.
